Chelsea want to sign Juventus star Paul Pogba

Chelsea are plotting an audacious attempt to prise Paul Pogba away from Juventus in the closing stages of the summer transfer window.

That is according to the Daily Star's chief football writer David Woods, who says Roman Abramovich has already approved a £60million bid for the midfielder.

The Blues are looking to get their Premier League title defence back on track after garnering just one point from their opening two games, including a convincing defeat against Manchester City.
