Touched by an Angel

I walked alone in the middle of the forest surrounded by many trees. It was dim and I was feeling cold by the heavy wind, and weary. Because of my great fear, I walked quickly and never noticed that I lost my way.

I reached the high hills... it was difficult to breath while climbing at the top of the hills. I trembled and my legs were numb. I wanted to cry out for help but there was nobody to hear me. I thought that if I give up at this moment, surely I will fall. When I had nothing to see but only the darkness, I collapsed.

After a while, I noticed something mysterious, like a reflection that shone towards me... someone reached his hands and touched me. With a very mystifying voice, he whispered, "Come, and stand up, you can do it, you are not alone." By his touch I feel secure.

I aroused to find my mother waking me up because it's late in the morning. I was only dreaming but the dream was real for me...

"Thanks God, for giving me another chance to face this life full of challenges. To help me overcome the problems and hardships that I struggle with. You guide me and let me feel that I'm not alone."

 I would like to dedicate this article to my loving father who passed away and this month making a year he's gone. Father, I miss you so much. To my mother that brings a lot of love and sacrifices to me since I was young. To my friends that are true and there for me even in tough times. And to this wonderful lady(Miss Chika Duru) who has always been there for me, wishing her a happy birthday in advance sweetheart.
