Some sources reported earlier this week that Chelsea had agreed a
season-long deal with Monaco for Falcao, who spent last season on loan
with Manchester United
United opted not to make Falcao move
permanent after he scored just four times in 29 appearances, but Chelsea
boss Jose Mourinho is keen to sign the 29-year-old to bolster his
attacking options following the departure of Didier Drogba.
Falcao, who impressed with both Porto and Atletico Madrid before
moving to France, was asked about the reports when he spoke to reporters
following Colombia's victory over Brazil at the Copa America in Chile.
"I am just thinking of the Copa America and the squad, my staff are taking care of this." Falcao said.
Asked if the reports linking him with a loan move to Chelsea were correct, Falcao added: "It can be, you will know soon."
